The entire gnome starting quest chain is only available to gnomes, which makes sense as it is mostly centred around preventing yourself from turning into a Leper Gnome. Waited a bit, logged back in and WAS able to switch my gnome warrior to another alliance race keeping the sword.įaction change (into horde) I was able to keep the sword. "warrior only quest"! (Given for learning Charge) So any warrior can get this sword, not just new ones.īecause its a starter zone quest, and because the PTR lets lots of random faction / race changes happen with your toons on the PTR character loading screen I figured what the heck, and rolled a gnome warrior on the PTR.
When 4.0 came out, i was able to return to the new gnome starting zone and do the quests and get this sword. I have a 4 yr old level 2 gnome warrior bank toon. Comment by RiggsUpdate on the Race / Faction change.
